Dow Era Formally Begins August 20, Men's Soccer Announces 2026 Schedule

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State men’s soccer announced its 2026 campaign, including 10 contests at Jeffrey Field and five against teams that appeared in the 2025 NCAA Tournament. Time designations for 2026 season will be announced at a later date.

Penn State opens the fall with a pair of scrimmages, first on the road at American, then at home versus Syracuse. The contests are scheduled for Saturday, August 8 and Friday, August 14, respectively.

A home contest against Mercyhurst on Thursday, August 20 marks the regular season opener for the Nittany Lions before the Blue & White embarks on a road trip to Springfield, Missouri to square off against Missouri State on Monday, August 24.

PSU returns to Jeffrey Field for a three-game homestand from Friday, August 28 through Friday, September 4. The stretch begins with contests against instate rivals Pittsburgh and Bucknell before wrapping up against Ivy League foe Yale.

Big Ten play for PSU begins on Friday, September 11 when the team hits the road west to Washington to face off against the 2025 national champions at Husky Soccer Stadium. The Nittany Lions then depart back to University Park to battle against Michigan State on Friday, September 18.

The Nittany Lions then depart for Bill Armstrong Stadium in Bloomington, Indiana to face off against the Hoosiers, who were the number six seed in the 2025 NCAA Men's Soccer tournament.

Penn State swings back to Happy Valley for a pair of home contests against UCLA and Ohio State on Tuesday, September 29 and Friday, October 2 before traveling for the teams only consecutive road games.

The road stand begins at Michigan on Friday, October 9 before continuing on Friday, October 16 against Northwestern in Evanston, Illinois.

PSU hosts on Rutgers on Tuesday, October 20th before taking on Wisconsin on Friday, October 23. Duquesne rounds out the regular season home contests for the Blue & White, setting up a matchup on Wednesday, October 28.

Penn State concludes the 2026 regular season on the road against Michigan on Tuesday, November 3. The Terrapins were the four seed in the 2025 NCAA Tournament.
