UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State’s Sean Harvey recently earned CSC Academic All-District recognition, adding to the impressive list of awards he won as a redshirt sophomore with the men’s volleyball team this season.
Harvey, an accounting major, received the Academic All-District honor for the first time of his career. He is a two-time Academic All-Big Ten recipient and made the EIVA All-Academic Team twice. The outside hitter led Penn State to the EIVA regular season title and the program’s fourth-consecutive EIVA Tournament title this season.
The academic award is just the latest addition to a breakout season for Harvey. He was named the EIVA Player of the Year following the regular season and was later voted the MVP of the EIVA Tournament. He went on to add second-team All-America status after helping the Nittany Lions qualify for the 2026 NCAA Tournament.
Harvey now moves on to the Academic All-America ballot. The winners of that award will be announced on July 14.
