Women's Hockey Unveils 2026–27 Schedule

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The Penn State women's hockey team announced its 2026–27 schedule on Friday evening, featuring a 34-game regular season slate.

The Nittany Lions will play 17 regular-season games at home, 15 on the road, and two additional games coming in the D1 in DC tournament in Washington, D.C., during Thanksgiving break.

“As always, we seek to complement our rugged AHA schedule with demanding non-conference opponents,” said head coach Jeff Kampersal. “We accomplished our goal, and the 2026–27 season is going to be exciting.”

The Nittany Lions begin with a preseason scrimmage against RIT on Sept. 18 in University Park before opening the regular season at home against Ohio State on Sept. 24-25.

Penn State remains home the following weekend to host Robert Morris before embarking on its first road trip of the season with a two-game series at Syracuse on Oct. 9-10.

The Nittany Lions return to Pegula Ice Arena for a home series against Lindenwood on Oct. 16-17 before consecutive road weekends at St. Lawrence (Oct. 23-24) and RIT (Oct. 30-31).

Following an early November bye weekend, Penn State travels to Mercyhurst on Nov. 13-14 before returning home to host Delaware on Nov. 19-20.

The team closes November competing in a holiday showcase, D1 in DC, in Washington, D.C., facing Boston College on Nov. 27 and Minnesota on Nov. 28 in a pair of neutral-site contests.

December begins with a home series against Syracuse on Dec. 4-5 before a road matchup at Princeton on Dec. 9.

The second half of the schedule opens with back-to-back home series against ECAC foes Cornell (Jan. 1-2) and Princeton (Jan. 6).

After another bye weekend, Penn State returns to Atlantic Hockey America play facing Robert Morris in a away series on Jan. 15-16 before hosting Mercyhurst on Jan. 22-23.

The regular season concludes with a trip to Delaware on Jan. 29-30, a home series against RIT on Feb. 5-6, and a final conference series at Lindenwood on Feb. 12-13.
