STOCKHOLM - Rising-junior Nicole Hall of the Penn State women’s ice hockey team has been invited to Sweden’s Women’s National Team training camp this June, the Swedish Ice Hockey Federation announced on Friday morning.

Hall is one of seven current NCAA players selected to attend Sweden’s training camp from June 23-28 at Sandbrohallen Rink in Enköping, Sweden. She joins Lisa Jönsson (Northeastern University), Ida Karlsson and Thea Johansson (Minnesota Duluth), Mira Jungåker, Jenna Raunio, and Hilda Svensson (Ohio State University).

The camp is part of Sweden’s preparation for several major international events on the horizon, providing national team members with the opportunity to train alongside the national team staff ahead of the Four Nations Tournament (August and September 2026), Women’s World Championship (November 2026), and Six Nations Tournament (April 2027).

Hall has represented her country in 76 international contests over the last seven years, including two appearances at the World Junior Championships, skating in 11 games and recorded one goal and two assists while helping Sweden capture the tournament title in 2022.

Hall also participated in the Olympic Games for the first time in her career this past February, representing Sweden in Milano-Cortina, Italy, and competed in all seven games.

In her first two seasons at Penn State, Hall has appeared in 71 games, tallying 18 goals and 14 assists for 32 points while helping the Nittany Lions capture two of four straight Atlantic Hockey America championships and advance to the program’s first NCAA Frozen Four this past season, hosted at Pegula Ice Arena for the first time in program history.
