Women’s Lacrosse Adds Five Transfers to 2027 Roster

The Nittany Lions add three midfielders and pair of attackers to the 2027 roster

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Head Coach Kayla Treanor and the Penn State women’s lacrosse program have announced the addition of five transfer to the 2026-27 roster: Mya Carroll, Shae Hagans, Audra Hansen, Devin Livingston and Caroline Panzirer.

“We are excited to welcome these five student-athletes to the Penn State Lacrosse family,” said Treanor. “They are outstanding fits for our culture, share our values, and will help us continue building the type of program we want to be. We can't wait to get them to campus and get to work together.”

Mya Carroll

A midfielder hailing from Fulton, New York, Caroll joins the Penn State ranks after a year at UAlbany. Carroll was extremely productive during her one year stint as a Great Dane, starting all 18 games and finishing third on UAlbany with 40 points off 29 goals and 11 assists while compiling 17 ground balls, 10 caused turnovers and winning 43 draw controls. For her spectacular freshman campaign, Carroll earned America East Rookie of the Year, was selected to the America East Second Team All-Conference, America East All-Rookie Team, America East All-Championship Team and was a five-time America East Rookie of the Week honoree.

Prior to her time at UAlbany, Carroll was named a USA Lacrosse High School All-American, two-time New York State Section III Lacrosse Player of the Year, New York All-State and a four-time First Team All-CNY.

Shae Hagans

A | Jr. | Prosper, Texas | Prosper High School/Jacksonville

An attacker out of Prosper, Texas, Hagans joins the Nittany Lions from Jacksonville University. During Hagans’ two years as a Dolphin, she has tallied 77 goals and 23 assists to reach the century mark in points. Her 46% shooting mark is a top-10 percentage in the ASUN and her 43 goals accumulated last season placed her fifth in the conference. In Hagans’ freshman season with Jacksonville, she was named the unanimous ASUN Freshman of the Year, a Second-Team All-ASUN selection, an ASUN All-Freshman honoree and led the Dolphins’ with 34 goals, the most by any ASUN freshman.

Prior to her time at Jacksonville, Hagans totaled 497 goals and 139 assists, was named a USA Lacrosse All-American and was a four-time Texas All-State honoree.

Audra Hansen

M | Gr. | Stamford, Conn. | Westhill/UMass-Lowell

A midfielder from Stamford, Connecticut, becomes the newest member of the Penn State family after a four-year stint at UMass-Lowell. During Hansen’s time as a River Hawk, she appeared in 51 games with 49 starts with 77 goals and 26 assists. On the defensive end, she contributed 47 ground balls and 31 caused turnovers. Hansen has twice been named to the America East All-Championship Team, has been selected to both the America East First Team and Second Team All-Conference, America East All-Rookie Team and was a three-time America East Rookie of the Week honoree.

Prior to her career at UMass-Lowell, Hansen was the captain at Westhill High School, tallied over 100 goals, led Westhill to its second state championship game and was named female athlete of the year.

Devin Livingston

M | Jr. | Victor, N.Y. | Victor Senior/Maryland

Hailing from Victor, New York, Livingston joins the Penn State midfield unit after two years at Maryland. Livingston saw time in 37 games during her stint as a Terrapin and tallied 22 goals while dishing out seven assists and picked up 13 ground balls. During her freshman campaign, she was the ninth-ranked freshman in the nation per Inside Lacrosse and helped Maryland take down Rutgers in the Big Ten Quarterfinals with a hat trick and shooting 100% from the field.

Prior to her time at College Park, Livingston was a five-star recruit from Victor Senior High School and was the eighth-highest ranked recruit in the nation according to Inside Lacrosse. She was a three-time New York State champion, a 2024 USA Lacrosse All-American and was selected to play in the 2024 All-America Lacrosse Senior Game.

Caroline Panzirer

A | Gr. | Katonah, N.Y. | John Jay High School/Colgate

An attacker out of Katonah, New York, Panzirer comes to Happy Valley after four years at Colgate. During the New Yorker’s time with the Raiders, she totaled 102 goals, adding 59 assists for 161 points in 50 games played and started while sporting a shot percentage at 50%. During her 2025 campaign, Panzirer led Colgate with 43 goals, 25 assists and 68 points and earned All-Patriot League Second Team honors with a selection to the Academic All-Patriot League. She ranked fourth in the Patriot League in assists per game and sixth in points per game during her 2025 season and finished the season with nine hat tricks and seven five-plus point outings.

Prior to her time at Colgate, Panzirer compiled 143 goals and 54 assists for John Jay High School and was named an All-American in 2022 after a season with 77 goals and 31 assists.
