UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Peter and Ann Tombros Endowed Head Coach Mike Rhoades has announced the signing of forward François Wibaut. Wibaut hails from France and is set to join the Nittany Lions for the 2026-27 season.

- Wibaut played and started for French club Pau-Lacq-Orthez in the French Elite 2 league.
- The forward has represented France on the U-16 through U-20 youth national teams. Last summer, Wibaut averaged 9.1 points and four rebounds for the French squad at the 2025 FIBA U-20 EuroBasket. Against Israel in the group phase, Wibaut scored 16 points in 16 minutes while adding five rebounds and two assists. A few days later, the forward posted a 15-point performance with four boards against Belgium in the Round of 16.
- Wibaut is a three-time French national champion in youth categories.
