UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State Football has announced that its 2026 season and home opener against Marshall, on September 5, will be designated as the Stripe Out game. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. on FS1.
In one month, Penn State will open its 140th football season and 67th season in West Shore Home Field at Beaver Stadium. Tickets can be purchased here.
The Nittany Lions will play their 11th annual Stripe Out game.
Each section will be coordinated in either all blue or white clothing to create a stripe effect at West Shore Home Field at Beaver Stadium. The 2026 Stripe Out seat map will be available when it is finalized.
The Marshall game is presented by Onvo. Additional initiatives for the home opener include Youth Sports Day, Youth Spirit Day, Faculty/Staff Appreciation and Health Care Appreciation.
Other game theme designations, including the Penn State White Out and Helmet Stripe game, will be announced as soon as television networks and kickoff times are determined.
