ROSEMONT, Ill. – The Big Ten Network rounded out its announcements of fall Olympic sport coverage on Thursday afternoon, with Penn State’s women’s soccer, men’s soccer and field hockey programs garnering their national television designations for the 2026 season. Nittany Lion women’s soccer was tabbed for three BTN broadcasts, with men’s soccer and field hockey landing one broadcast each.
The Nittany Lion women's soccer team is slated for three regular season appearances on Big Ten Network, beginning with a road matchup at Ohio State on Thursday, September 10, at 7 p.m. (ET). Penn State returns home three days later to host Minnesota on Sunday, September 13, at noon (ET) before closing its BTN regular season slate at Michigan State on Thursday, October 22, at 6 p.m. (ET). The conference tournament will also be featured on BTN, with both semifinal matches airing Sunday, November 8, followed by the Big Ten Championship on Friday, November 13.
Penn State men's soccer will make its lone regular season Big Ten Network appearance when the Nittany Lions host reigning Big Ten Tournament champion UCLA on Monday, September 28, at 7 p.m. (ET). The network will once again televise the semifinal round of the Big Ten Men's Soccer Tournament on Wednesday, November 11, before carrying the conference championship match on Sunday, November 15.
The Penn State field hockey program will also be featured on Big Ten Network during the regular season when the Nittany Lions welcome Ohio State to Happy Valley on Friday, October 16, with event start scheduled for 5 p.m. (ET). BTN's postseason coverage continues with both Big Ten Tournament semifinal contests on Friday, November 6, followed by the conference championship on Sunday, November 8.
In addition to the linear television schedule, Big Ten contests and select nonconference games across all three sports will be available to stream on B1G+, the conference's subscription streaming platform, which provides fans with access to thousands of live events and next-day on-demand archives throughout the academic year.
