UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State Baseball will open its 2027 campaign in the Atlantis Collegiate Baseball Series against Auburn on February 19-21, announced by bdG Sports on Thursday. The three-game series will be played at Andre Rodgers National Stadium.
Game times and streaming information will be announced at a later date.
The Nittany Lions took on Indiana State in 2026 in the inaugural Atlantis Collegiate Baseball Series. Penn State played three tight games against the Sycamores, falling 8-5 on Friday and 2-1 on Saturday before a 9-8 win in 11 innings on Sunday.
Auburn went 42-22 overall and 17-13 in SEC play last season. The Tigers hosted and won an NCAA Regional before falling in a Super Regional against Ole Miss.
This will mark the first meeting between Penn State and Auburn.

Penn State, led by head coach Mike Gambino, won 16 games in 2026, including three over RPI Top-100 teams and one over an NCAA Super Regional team.
The Nittany Lions finished the year with 72 home runs, including a Penn State-record 20 by Michael Anderson, 15 by Bryce Molinaro and 10 by Spencer Barnett.
Anderson was selected in the fifth round of the MLB Draft by the Texas Rangers.
Over the last three seasons, PSU has slugged 224 home runs, including 71 in 2024, 81 in 2025 and 72 in 2026. Nine Nittany Lions have hit 10+ home runs in a season.
Molinaro enters the 2027 season ranking second all-time at Penn State with 39 career home runs and, in 2026, became the second Nittany Lion to hit 10+ home runs in three-straight seasons.
