Q: You’re through the non-conference schedule; what do you like about what you’re seeing out there through three games with the team?
A: Just the way everybody is playing, flying around and everybody’s energy there. We could fix the little things, but everybody needs to be playing to our standards. So, I really like that, and you know, you’ve just got to keep doing better every week.
Q: How comfortable are you feeling in this defense now, maybe compared to the start of game one to where you are going into Big Ten play?
A: I’m feeling very comfortable in this defense. You know, D-Lynn (D’Anton Lynn) does a great job of just coaching us up on everything, and even our position coaches. So, I feel very comfortable in this defense, and we’ve only got room to keep growing.
Q: You’re going against your old teammate, Abu Sama III, when you play Wisconsin. He was a really good running back at Iowa State. How well do you know him and how much fun will that be?
A: It's going to be fun for sure. You know, that’s my friend. He’s my brother for life. We built a close relationship while we were at Iowa State, and he’s a great player. You know, we’re going to have to all go out there and give it our all.

Q: What is it like playing in front of the environment here at home; playing in front of 100,000-plus people week-in and week-out?
A: It's another day in the office. I don't like to look in the crowd all that much because I just want to be there in the moment with my team.
Q: What is the identity of the receiver room?
A: I think we all push each other. We have this thing; we call it SET. It's selfless, explosive and tough. We go by that every day, and that's our receiver room. We just want to make sure that we're providing that every day.
Q: What is it about Koby Howard’s work ethic that inspires this receiver room?
A: It inspires all of us, because we're all in there early, all in there late at night. Just having a group that wants to be great like that, it inspires all of us.
