FRIDAY, JANUARY 30
With two major events Friday evening in the Wrestling BJC Dual vs Nebraska at 8 p.m. and Men's Hockey game vs Michigan State at Pegula Ice Arena at 6 p.m., fans should anticipate heavy traffic and parking congestion on campus.
All lots around the Bryce Jordan Center - Stadium West, Jordan East and Porter North - will be pre-paid only Friday night. Purchase your pass for $5.50 via ParkWhiz to guarantee your spot. Penn State faculty/staff and student permits wil also be valid at these lots.
Event day sales will be in the East Deck only at $10 per vehicle.
 
SATURDAY, JANUARY 31
Parking near West Shore Home Field (between Bigler Road and Mount Nittany Medical Center) is managed by Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics. For more information, call 1-800-NITTANY or email golions@psu.edu.
Additional On-Campus Parking: $40 at the Eisenhower, East, and HUB decks, $30 at the Nittany Deck, and $20 at the West Deck.
Penn State faculty, staff, and student permits will be valid for this event only in evening/weekend lots west of Bigler Road that are not included in the list below.
The following campus parking lots will close at midnight Friday night in advance of Saturday's game:
    • Commuter lots (Jordan East, Stadium West, Porter North, Porter South)
    • Orange L (all sections)
    • Yellow H (all sections)
    • Yellow M
    • Yellow V
    • Orange A OPP (east and west)

Managing Cold Temperatures

Managing Cold Temperatures

Fans should be advised that the forecast is calling for cold but stable conditions on Winter Weekend. Anyone attending an outdoor event should keep the following in mind:

  • Dress in warm, layered, waterproof clothing.
  • Keep skin covered - wear hats, gloves and scarves.
  • Consume warm fluids and calorie-dense foods. Concession stands will be open and serving warm beverages.
  • Be aware of symptoms such as shivering, confusion or slurred speech. Seek warmth immediately or visit medical stations if symptoms occur.
  • Warming spaces in and around West Shore Home Field at Beaver Stadium include The Bubble, All-Sports Museum, Pegula Ice Arena and Medlar Field at Lubrano Park.
