KICKOFF
The Nittany Lions are aiming for their first result in conference play when the team hosts the Ohio State Buckeyes at 7 p.m. at Jeffrey Field on Friday night. The Nittany Lions are still chasing their first conference win under first-year head coach Rob Dow.
Penn State is coming off a hard-fought 4-2 loss against UCLA this past Monday, dropping the overall record to 2-6-0 and its conference record to 0-3-0.
B1G THINGS
The Nittany Lions had three student-athletes tabbed as Big Ten Players to Watch, the conference offices announced Tuesday afternoon.
The group includes Daniel Peluffo-Wiese, Noah Förster, and Joe Buckley.
Förster made his impact immediate, dishing an assist on Penn State’s first goal under Coach Dow and earning his first career start in game two.
Daniel Peluffo-Weise has totaled 24 saves through eight contests, averaging 3.00 per game.
NOTABLE NUMBERS
Through eight games, Penn State is shooting at a 53.6 percent clip, which ranks the squad first in the Big Ten Conference and seventh nationally.
Peluffo-Wiese averages 3.00 saves per game, the fourth-most in the Big Ten.
His save total of 24 ranks fifth-most in the conference.
With three goals in three games, Amadou Kone is 12th in the conference in points per game (1.00).
Etienne Reck is tied for ninth in the Big Ten in shots per game, averaging 2.25.
BEHIND THE BUCKEYES
OSU is coached by Brian Maisonneuve, who is entering his ninth season with the program and his 16th season as a coach.
Maisonneueve served as an assistant coach for the Lousville Cardinals and Indiana Hoosiers before joining Ohio State for the 2018 season.
Through nine years with Maisonneuve at the helm, the Buckeyes have compiled a 61-64-23 (.490) overall record
In the 2025 season, Ohio State finished with an overall record of 6-10-0 and a conference record of 3-7-0.
In their most recent matchup, Ohio State tied, 1-1, against George Mason.
Senior Isiah Chisolm leads the Buckeyes with seven goals this season.
The Buckeyes roster includes seven transfers and six international players.
OSU is one of the most [hysical teams in the Big Ten, averaging nine fouls per game.
The Scarlet and Grey are top-three in the Big Ten in scoring offense (2.33), shots on goal per game (7.00), shutout percentage (44.4 percent), total goals (21), total points (61).

STORY OF THE SERIES
This game marks the 47th meeting between the Nittany Lions and the Buckeyes
Penn State leads the all-time series over OSU with a record of 23-17-6.
The Buckeyes took last season’s matchup in a 1-0 decision during the Blue & White’s final road game of the year at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium.
This defeat marked the Buckeyes’ 300th home win in program history.
The Buckeyes scored in the 75th minute when senior Ashton Bilow’s shot hit the goalpost and was shut out by senior Tanner Creech.

Admission to all Penn State men's soccer home matches is free to the public. Seating is general admission and available to fans on a first-come, first-served basis. Re-entry is permitted. Penn State's team bench is located on the southeast side nearest University Drive and the Jeffrey Field Soccer Complex. The visiting team bench is located on the southwest side nearest the intersection of University Drive and Park Avenue.
Gates to Jeffrey Field open 60 minutes prior to kickoff. Spectator gates to Jeffrey Field are located on either side of the Jeffrey Field Soccer Complex near the northeast and southeast corner flags.

Parking on the Penn State University campus requires a valid university permit or payment of an applicable fee. Parking will be available at the Commuter Lots, which includes Stadium West, Jordan East, and Porter North.

- $5.60 if purchased virtually by 11:59 p.m. the day before the event

Day-of-Event Payment:
- Available via in-lot pay stations or HONK (see in-lot signage for instructions) beginning two hours before the start of each match.
- Special Event Pricing:
- If overlapping with a Bryce Jordan Center concert or show, day-of-event parking may cost up to $30 for those without a permit or prepayment.
Hourly Parking:
- Available at the East Deck for most games:
- $2 for the first hour
- $1 for each additional hour

There is one concessions stand at Jeffrey Field located on the south side of the Jeffrey Field Soccer Complex nearest the southeast corner flag and Penn State team bench.
As a reminder, outside food and beverage is PROHIBITED at Jeffrey Field.
ACCESSIBILITY & ADA
ADA COMPLIANCE AT JEFFREY FIELD
ADA parking is available for all Penn State men's soccer home matches in the designated ADA parking spots in front of the Jeffrey Field Soccer Complex (JFSC). Entry to the ADA lot is guarded by a lot attendant. Enter the lot through the Stadium West entrance, and have either an ADA placard or license plate visible when entering the JFSC lot.
All Jeffrey Field spectator entrances are ADA compliant. ADA ramps are available to the seating areas at Jeffrey Field near the two main spectator entrances in the northeast and southeast corners of the venue.
ADA seating is available near the midfield line in both the north and south stands at Jeffrey Field.
