TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Penn State men’s cross country team finished 20th overall with 572 points in the Men’s Blue 8K race at the Under Armour Pre-National Invitational on Friday morning. The Nittany Lions finished ahead of No. 26 Utah Valley.
Senior Nick Sloff led Penn State with a 33rd-place finish in 23:49.1. Senior Brian DiCola followed in 45th at 23:57.3, while senior Ryan Watson finished 120th in 24:23.9. Sophomore Isaac Oppermann placed 183rd in 24:42.0, and freshman Michael Braun rounded out the Nittany Lions’ top five with a 207th-place finish in 24:48.0.
Freshman Adam Kingston finished 246th in 25:01.8, followed by graduate student Caiden Leen in 272nd at 25:13.1. Senior Logan Strawser rounded out the Penn State lineup, crossing the finish line in 306th place in 25:35.8.
