BACK/FREEMEET NOTES
The Penn State Swim and Dive teams return to McCoy Natatorium to take on the Pittsburgh Panthers in their 800 Strong meet.
The Nittany Lions return to the pool after three dual-meet stands at the Georgia Tech Dual Meet Tournament. The team will be looking to build on their momentum after defeating George Washington in Atlanta.
On the men’s side, Tylor Kim, Alex Karahalis and Pedro Medrado have been leading the way for the Blue and White. Senior Kim, recently named Penn State Athletics’ Student-Athlete of the Week for his performance, dominated at Georgia Tech, winning four individual events and helping secure two relay wins. Karahalis, another senior, won three individual events and helped earn a relay win.
Medrado has had an immediate impact in his debut season, earning Big Ten Freshman of the Week honors twice. The newcomer continued his strong start, taking home four individual event titles in Atlanta.
Katie Ketter, Sara McNabb and Audrey Cohen have led the way for the Nittany Lions. Ketter took two individual event wins in Atlanta, while also contributing to a relay win. Newcomer McNabb earned her first-career event win, while Cohen claimed an event title against George Washington.
