Benedetti Ravon and Dimitrova head to New York for UTR Sports College Circuit

The duo are each set to compete in three singles matches

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Charlotte Benedetti Ravon and Katerina Dimitrova will travel to The Bronx, New York, this weekend to represent Penn State in the UTR Sports College Circuit at Fordham University.

Benedetti Ravon, a freshman, made a strong collegiate debut earlier this season at the Martha Thorn Invitational, picking up four total victories (two singles, two doubles). She also competed at the ITA Regional Championships where she earned an additional two wins.

Benedetti Ravon hails from Paris, France, where she competed for Lycée Jean de La Fontaine High School.

Dimitrova also saw her first action of the season in West Virginia, where she picked up two singles wins. At the ITA Regional Championships, Dimitrova added two more wins.

A senior from Plovdiv, Bulgaria, Dimitrova posted a 2-1 singles record in the 2025-26 season.

Both players will play one singles match on Saturday and two singles matches on Sunday to close out the weekend.

Dimitrova and Benedetti Ravon both earned a bye in the first round, meaning their first action will come later in the day on Saturday.

Dimitrova will face off against the winner of Lilianna Chitambar and Ilaria Bitunova, while Benedetti Ravon will match up against either Abby Cizmarik or Keira Tinory.

The tournament will be the last piece of action for the Nittany Lions before Maelie Monfils and Patricia Grigoras compete in the NCAA Doubles Championships in Athens, Georgia from November 17-22.
