Nerraw McCormack is anxious to resume his bid for playing time in the offensive tackle rotation after taking a redshirt season in 2008. He enrolled at Penn State in 2007 after spending two years at Nassau Community College and has made good progress during his two years as a Nittany Lion. This past spring, McCormack saw significant repetitions at left tackle until suffering a sprained right knee that sidelined him the final two weeks. He has good size, skills and strength and could battle for considerable playing time on an offensive line that lost three starters. McCormack, tailback Stephfon Green and running back Shaine Thompson were prep teammates at John F. Kennedy HS in the Bronx. McCormack graduated from the College of the Liberal Arts in May 2009.
