Ryan Nowicki brings good skills and physical attributes to the offensive line. Nowicki has made steady progress during his first year in the Penn State program and is looking forward to an opportunity to earn a spot in the guard rotation this fall.

Nowicki was instrumental in Cactus High School compiling a 10-2 record in his senior year under Coach Larry Fetkenheir. He was a two-time first-team Class 4A-II all-state selection and was a member of the Arizona Football Coaches Association (AzFCA) all-state Top 25. As a junior, Nowicki was named first-team 4A all-region and first-team 4A-II all-state by the AzFCA, and 4A-II all-state by Scout.com. Rivals.com ranked Nowicki the No. 31 prep tackle in the nation.

Full name is Ryan Christopher Nowicki. He is the son of Christopher and Wendy Nowicki. He has a brother, Zachary, and two sisters, Brittney and Taylor. His father played football at Purdue and an uncle, Charles Nowicki, played football at Ohio University. Nowicki, who enjoys working out and spending time with friends, is interested in a career in hospital management. Born February 26, 1993 in Elgin, Ill.
