A.J. Price is a competitor. In the middle amongst a family of seven boys, he really had no choice growing up. Price has used the skills, toughness and instincts he learned being raised in an active household to emerge as a highly-talented athlete. A three-sport standout at South Lakes HS, Price has an opportunity to become an important contributor in his redshirt freshman season. With the graduation of three of the most prolific wide receivers in Penn State history, he will enter preseason camp ready to challenge for a spot in the rotation. Price is among the tallest members of the receiving corps and his athleticism, physical gifts and determination will greatly assist his bid for significant playing time this year. Price is one of seven returning Nittany Lions from metropolitan Washington, D.C.

High School
Price was a standout for Coach John Ellenberger at South Lakes HS. As a senior, he was named Virginia High School Coaches Association second-team Class AAA all-state and second-team Washington Post All-Met. He caught 32 passes for 816 yards and 11 touchdowns during his senior season and was a Scout.com three-star selection. Price also was captain of the basketball team and a member of the track and field squad.

Full name is Andrew J. Price. He is the son of Nicole and Gerald Price. He has six brothers: Gerald, Chris, Marcus, Eric, Brandon and Sean. Chris plays football at Virginia State University. In his free time, Price enjoys reading, playing video games and listening to music. He is interested in history. Born January 19, 1990 in McLean, Va.
