Several Nittany Lions are in their first year of learning a new position, moving to a new spot in order to maximize their talents and strengths and bolster depth. J.R. Refice is looking forward to his first full season at fullback, having made the move from defensive tackle. Senior Michael Zordich is the lone returnee with much experience at fullback, giving Refice an opportunity to battle for the top reserve role in the position critical to offensive success. The hard-working and determined Valley View High School product made good progress in the spring. He is on schedule to graduate in December. Refice is among 11 returning Nittany Lions from Eastern Pennsylvania.
