Flanagan played for the Hill School under head coach Marty Vollmuth. He played quarterback and defensive back. During his senior year, he passed for 416 yards and 2 touchdowns. He also rushed for 116 yards and 5 touchdowns. Also played basketball.

Full name is Patrick Brendan Flanagan. He is the son of Michael and Megan Flanagan. Has a brother, Joseph, and a sister, Kailey. Mother and father both attended Penn State. He enjoys music, playing basketball, fishing, hunting, and spending time with friends. Born on September 24, 1990 in Philadelphia, Pa.
