Having played in 89 games, Walker trails only fellow senior Geary Claxton in game experience among Nittany Lions and his 1,954 career minutes trail only Claxton and junior Jamelle Cornley...Long established as a spark from behind the arc (131 career threes) during his career, the clever passer with a 2.5 assist-to-turnover ratio over the past two seasons shined playing major minutes at the point-guard position over the final five games of the 2006-07 season...He averaged 12.4 points and a team-leading 4.0 assists per game over that stretch while playing 33.6 minutes per game...The two-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree will be among three players who will be looked toward to take over point-guard duties for 2007 graduate Ben Luber who started virtually every game at the position over the past four seasons.

Walker started 15 games as a true-freshman and played in all but one game, missing that one with an illness...Ended the campaign with a 6.3 ppg mark and 71 assists (second on the team)...Hit 41 of 123 three-pointers (33.3%), the third most on the squad...Shot 76.3 percent from the free throw line...Was the key factor in Penn State[apos]s win at Rutgers (12/1), scoring 15 points off 6-of-9 shooting and dishing off four assists...Posted a season-high 16 points against nationally-ranked Pittsburgh (12/11) hitting 5-of-10 field goals, including four treys, and adding six rebounds and four assists...Had an outstanding game in leading Penn State to a Big Ten win over Northwestern (1/22) hitting 5-of-10 field goals and going 5-of-9 from long range to score 15 points in the victory...Posted 12 points, and three rebounds at Michigan State (3/3).
HIGH SCHOOL
The 2003 Pennsylvania AA Player of the Year, Walker also earned two first team All-State selections, was twice voted the Player of the Year by the Carlisle Sentinel and earned all-district honors three years...Walker led Trinity HS to four straight Mid-Penn Conference titles and four straight District 3 AA titles during his four seasons as a letterman...Was a starter on Trinity[apos]s 2003 Pennsylvania State Championship team, a starter on the 2002 state finalist, and a key reserve on the 2001 PIAA State Championship team...He ended his high school career with 1,579 career points, 233 three-pointers, 550 assists and 194 steals...During his four years, Trinity posted a stunning 124-7 record...As a freshman reserve on the 29-4 varsity team, Walker also led the Trinity junior varsity squad to a 20-0 mark...Named to the Harrisburg Patriot-News All-Underclassman team...Trinity amassed a 31-1 mark in his sophomore season en route to the state title game... named Top Underclassman by The Patriot News and was an all-district pick...Led Trinity to another state title and a perfect 33-0 record in his junior season earning PIAA-AA Player of the Year honors, All-State selection, all-district honors, and P.O.Y. honors from the Carlisle Sentinel....His senior season saw yet another trip to the state playoffs... An upset loss in the state tournament not-withstanding, Trinity had a superb season with a 31-2 mark... Walker repeated his All-State, Sentinel P.O.Y and all-district honors...Walker was an outstanding student, winning Most Outstanding Student-Athlete laurels as well as being an Honors Student at Trinity throughout his high school days.
PERSONAL
Walker is the son of Mark and Lorie Walker...The youngest of six children, he has three brothers (Matt, Ben and A.J.) and two sisters (Amy and Chrissy)...He lists bowling and ping-pong as his favorite past times and is also an avid tennis player...A supply chain and information systems management major, he had over a 3.2 cumulative grade-point average through the spring semester of 2007.
