Will be eligible to compete for Penn State for two seasons beginning in 2016-17 after sitting out the 2015-16 campaign to satisfy NCAA transfer requirements.
PRIOR TO PENN STATE
While at UConn, appeared in 65 career games for the Huskies, averaging 3.0 points and 1.7 rebounds… Saw tin every game for the Huskies as a sophomore and made eight starts this past season… Played in 30 games his freshman year, improving as the season went on... Provided great defense off the bench as a freshman throughout UConn’s run to the NCAA Championship.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2014-15):
- Saw time in all 35 of UConn’s games, averaging 3.6 points and 2.5 rebounds
- Made his first career start against Texas (11/30) and had eight starts on the year
- Reached double-figures three times, including in UConn’s First Round NIT game against Arizona State (3/18)
- Scored a career-high 12 points against Tulsa (1/13), converting a career-best four field goals
- Was third on the team with 55 assists
- Tallied a career-high six assists in the first round of the NIT against Arizona State (3/18)
AS A FRESHMAN (2013-14):
- Appeared in 30 of 40 games for the Huskies, including the final 13, averaging 2.4 points and 0.9 rebounds a contest
- Scored a career-high 11 points, making seven of eight free throws, in UConn’s NCAA Tournament third-round win over Villanova (3/22)
- Averaged 4.5 points a game in the NCAA Tournament after scoring 1.9 points a contest during the regular season
- Scored two points and had a steal in the title game against Kentucky (4/7)
- Recorded a career-best three steals against Houston (1/30) and South Florida (2/26)... Averaged 2.2 points in conference play... Had a season-high four assists against Maine (12/6).
- Tallied a career-high six assists in the first round of the NIT against Arizona State (3/18)
HIGH SCHOOL
Attended Victory Collegiate High School in Brooklyn, part of the South Shore Educational Complex. Played for South Shore under coach Michael Beckles... Averaged 11.7 points, 4.8 assists per game last season, leading South Shore to a 17-9 record and a second consecutive PSAL Class AA quarterfinal berth.
