A combo guard who played in all 39 games as a true freshman at the University of Pittsburgh, Johnson transferred to Penn State in December of 2012 and was eligible to compete for the Nittany Lions in December of 2013. A four-time all-state selection during his prep career, Johnson was a prolific scorer posting 2,314 points while displaying a varied offensive game including a long-range jumper and the explosiveness to attack the basket. A proven winner who helped lead his prep teams to a 95-23 record and played more than 14 minutes a game in his first collegiate season, Johnson[apos]s toughness and passion for the game will be a great fit in Coach Patrick Chambers[apos] program.
