AT A GLANCE
The quick and explosive Travis solidified himself among the top rebounders in the Big Ten the last two seasons, finishing fourth in the conference as a sophomore (7.4 rpg) and junior (7.0). A strong finisher at the rim who is also an effective scorer on floaters and jumpers from 12-15 feet, he has worked hard to refine his jump shot and improve his shooting from range. He has also proven to be one of the team[apos]s top defenders with the athleticism and versatility to guard several positions from a point-guard to a post player. A good ball handler and passer who runs the floor and plays with a high motor, he quickly earned the moniker 'junkyard dog' from coach Patrick Chambers and the Academic All-Big Ten honoree has endeared himself to Nittany Lion fans with his all-out hustle and constant energy on the floor.
