Marquette Intercollegiate (9/3-5): Shot a 14-over, 230, to finish tied for 55th. Chicago Highlands Invitational (9/18-19): Finished tied for 69th at 11-over, 227. Rod Myers Invitational (9/24-25): Had first top-15 finish of the season, placing tied for 14th, after carding a 1-over, 217. Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate (10/8-10): Collected first top-10 finish of the season after placing tied for 7th and shooting a 3-under, 213. Quail Valley Collegiate (10/15-16): Shot a 12-over, 228, and placed tied for 78th. Florida Gators Invitational (2/16-17): Placed tied for 45th at 8-over, 218. Colleton River Collegiate (3/4-5): Finished tied for 10th for second top-10 finish of the season after carding an 8-under, 208. The Johnnie-O at Sea Island (3/11-12): Tied for 26th at 1-under, 215. Seahawk Intercollegiate (3/24-25): Shot a 14-over, 230, to place tied for 51st. Rutherford Intercollegiate (4/13-14): Finished fourth after shooting an even 213. Big Ten Championship (4/26-28): Was Penn State’s highest finisher, shooting a 15-over, 225, and placing tied for 19th.
2022-23 | Sophomore Season

Rod Myers Invitational (9/9-10): Carded an 8-over, 224, to place tied for 37th. Old Town Club Collegiate (9/26-27): Finished in third place as Penn State’s top finisher after shooting a 6-under, 204. Georgetown Intercollegiate (10/10-11): Shot an 8-over, 224, to place tied for 28th. Quail Valley Intercollegiate (10/16-17): Led the Nittany Lions after finishing tied for seventh and shooting a 10-under, 206. Florida Gators Invitational (2/11-12): Was Penn State’s top finisher after placing tied for 14th and carding a 3-over, 213. Colleton River Collegiate (3/6-7): Shot a 4-under, 212, and placed tied for 30th. Sea Island Shootout (3/11): Earned event title in single-round event after shooting a 6-under, 66. The Johnnie-O at Sea Island (3/13-14): Carded a 20-over, 230, and finished 75th. Rutherford Intercollegiate (4/15-16): Tied for 10th place with an even 213. Big Ten Championships (4/28-29): Tied for 37th place after shooting 9-over, 151.
2021-22 | Freshman Season
Season: Competed in seven events and grabbed a pair of top-10 finishes...Was Penn State’s highest finisher and turned in the best finish by a freshman in the 2022 Big Ten Championships field.
Turning Stone Tiger Intercollegiate (9/5-6): Shot a 7-over, 223, in collegiate debut. Mountaineer Invitational (10/4-5): Finished tied for 18th at 3-over, 219. Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate (10/10-12): Shot a 3-over, 219, and finished 55th while playing as an individual. General Hackler Championship (3/13-14): Carded a 15-over, 231. Rutherford Intercollegiate (4/16-17): Turned in first top-10 finish of collegiate career while finishing tied for 8th at 3-over, 216. Robert Kepler Intercollegiate (4/23-24): Shot a 5-over, 221, placing tied for 44th. Big Ten Championships (4/29-5/1): Was Penn State’s highest finisher and the top-placing freshman in the championship field at the 2022 league championships...Finished tied for ninth at 5-over, 221.
High School/Junior Career
Signed with the Nittany Lions as the top-ranked junior golfer in the state of Maryland according to the Junior Golf Scoreboard Ranking...Won 2021 Maryland State Open...Qualified for 2021 U.S. Junior Amateur Championship...Impressive list of honors and accomplishments in 2020 included his selection as a 2020 Rolex AJGA Junior All-American with six top-10 finishes in American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) events... The 2019 Washington Metropolitan Golf Association Junior Golfer of the Year, he recorded a third-place finish at the 2019 Mid-Atlantic Amateur Championship and was 10th as an individual at the Williamson Cup... A three-time team MVP and two-time all-division performer for Walter Johnson High School, Griffin was the program's first state champion, winning Maryland's Public High School 3A/4A title as a junior...Earned his high school's Scholar Athlete Award for four-straight years.
