Troy Lipis Season 2021

PRIOR TO PENN STATE
Prepped at Trinity Classical Academy and trained at Waller's GymJam Academy...Was the Junior Olympic national champion on rings in 2016 and added a runner-up finish in 2019...Took third all-around at Junior Olympic Nationals in 2019...Won region and state titles on rings in 2019...Was the Team Leadership Award recipient in 2018 after being named an Academic All-American and earning a spot on both the Southern California All-Star Team and the Region 1 Select Team...Was also named an Academic All-American and to the Region 1 Select Team in 2017...Won his team's MVP award in 2016...Helped team place third in Junior Olympic Nationals in 2018 and sixth in 2017...Added Academic All-American honors in 2019 and 2020 to give him four total.

Parents are Jeff and Venus Lipis...Has one younger brother, Ty, and one younger sister, Emerald...Hobbies include inventing and cooking...Enrolled in the Division of Undergraduate Studies.
