2022-23 • SENIOR SEASON
 
Awards: Named a 2022-23 Academic All-Big Ten honoree.
 
Season: Skated in 37 games…Finished fourth on the team with a career-best 24 points…Had career high numbers with nine goals and 15 assists…His 15 assists were tied for the second most on the team.
 
Canisius (10/7-10/8): Collected an assist in each game during an opening weekend sweep. St. Thomas (10/21):  Scored twice, including the overtime game-winning goal, in a 3-2 victory. at Wisconsin (10/29): Scored the game-winning goal while adding a pair of assists in a 4-0 win. No. 1 Michigan (11/4):  Tallied an assist in a 3-0 victory. at No. 1 Minnesota (11/10):  Registered a trio of assists in a 4-2 victory. Alaska (11/23): Tallied one assist in a 2-1 victory. No. 17 Ohio State (12/2): Registered one assist in a 2-1 win. at Notre Dame (12/9): Had one goal and one assist in a 5-2 victory. at Notre Dame (12/10): Scored a goal in a 5-3 loss. at RIT (12/30): Collected one assist in a 6-1 win. RIT (12/31): Scored a goal in a 3-1 victory. at No. 17 Michigan State (1/14): Recorded an assist in a 4-4 tie. Notre Dame (1/21): Registered an assist in 3-2 victory. 2021-22 • JUNIOR SEASON

Season: Skated in all 38 games...Tallied five goals and a career high 10 assists to tie his career high 15 points.

LIU (10/3): Scored his first goal of the season in a 3-1 win. Canisius (10/9): Tallied one assist in a 5-2 victory. Niagara (10/21): Registered one assist in a 4-0 shutout. No. 2 Michigan (10/12): Scored one goal in a 6-2 loss. at St. Thomas (11/24): Notched one assist in a 4-1 win. at Wisconsin (12/11): Tallied one assist in a 5-4 victory. at Army (1/1): Registered one assist in a 5-3 win. No. 13/13 Notre Dame (1/7): Reached a season high point streak of three games after tallying one assist in a 4-2 defeat. Wisconsin (1/21): Scored two goals including the eventual game-winning goal in a 4-1 victory. at No. 13/12 Notre Dame (2/4): Contributed one assist in a 7-2 loss. Minnesota (2/19): Notched one assist in a 6-4 loss. at Michigan State (2/26): Recorded an assist on the lone goal of a 2-1 defeat. No. 12/12 Ohio State (3/4): Scored once in a 4-3 loss. No. 12/12 Ohio State (3/5): Tallied one assist in a 3-2 win.

2020-21 • SOPHOMORE SEASON

Season: Skated in all 22 games finishing fourth on the team with a career-best 15 points...Registered career-highs in goals and assists with six and nine, respectively...Had four multi-point games...Led the team with a plus-8 rating.

Awards: Named an Academic All-Big Ten honoree.

at Minnesota (11/19): Tallied his first point of the season with one assist in an opening night loss. at Wisconsin (11/23): Recorded his first goal of the season in a 6-3 loss. Arizona State (12/13): Scored the game-winning goal in overtime while adding one assist to register his first multi-point game of the season. at Ohio State (1/9): Registered one goal and one assist in a 5-2 victory. Wisconsin (1/22): Tied the program-record with five points, contributing to all 5 scores, in a huge 5-4 win...Tied single-game record for assists with four and had one goal for a career-best five-point night. Notre Dame (1/28): Recorded one assist in a 2-1 overtime victory. Notre Dame (3/15): Collected the first multi-goal game of his career in a 6-3 Big Ten Tournament victory.

2019-20 • FRESHMAN SEASON

Season: Skated in 32 games leading all Nittany Lion freshmen with 12 points on four goals and eight assists...Tied for second on team with three game-winning goals...Postseason cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Sacred Heart (10/11): Recorded his first collegiate assist in an opening-night victory. Alaska (10/17): Collected an assist in a 7-0 shutout. Robert Morris (10/25): Tallied an assist in a 2-1 win. at Minnesota (11/15-16): Scored his first collegiate goal in game one and added an assist in game two to help the team secure the sweep. Niagara (1/3-4): Registered the game-winning goal in each game of a series sweep, his first career goal. Michigan (1/18): Added an assist in a 4-4 tie. at Michigan State (1/24-25): Recorded an assist in game one...Scored the game-winning goal in 2-1 overtime victory in game two. Notre Dame (1/31): Added a pair of assists in a 3-3 tie, the first multi-point game of his career.

BEFORE PENN STATE

Played two seasons with the Tri-City Storm of the USHL (2017-2019)...Finished 2018-19 third on the team with 26 goals and sixth with 44 total points…Played 2016-17 season with the Sioux City Musketeers, scoring eight goals with 10 assists for 18 points…Registered 96 points on 44 goals and 52 assists in 164 career USHL games.

PERSONAL

Son of Andrea and Jim McMenamin...Has one older brother, Colton, who played Division III hockey at Stevenson University...His mom, Andrea, played four years of softball at the University of Delaware...Majoring in finance.
