Season: Played 30 games…Collected a pair of assists to go along with 24 blocked shots, the second-most by a Nittany Lion forward.
at St. Lawrence (10/14): Recorded his first assist of the season in a 4-1 win. AIC (10/21): Tallied an assist in a 6-4 loss.
2022-23 • SOPHOMORE SEASON
Awards: Named a 2022-23 Academic All-Big Ten honoree… Named a 2022-23 Big Ten Distinguished Scholar.
Season: Appeared in a pair of games as a sophomore.
2021-22 • FRESHMAN SEASON
Season: Skated in 29 games...Scored one goal with 10 assists for 11 points.
Canisius (10/9): Tallied his first collegiate point with one assist in a 5-2 victory. Niagara (10/22): Collected a pair of assists in a 6-2 win. at St. Thomas (11/23): Tied his career high with two assists in a 5-1 win. Michigan State (12/4): Scored his first collegiate goal in a 4-3 loss. at Wisconsin (12/10): Tallied an assist on the lone goal in a 4-1 loss. at Army (1/1): Recorded one assist in a 5-3 victory. Minnesota (2/18): Collected one assist in a 3-1 defeat. Minnesota (2/19): Registered one assist in a 6-4 loss. No. 12/12 Ohio State (3/4): Tallied one assist in a 4-3 defeat.
BEFORE PENN STATE
Played the past three seasons with the Okotoks Oilers of the AJHL…Skated in 121 games scoring 16 goals while adding 54 assists for 70 points…Served as team captain in 2020-21 leading his team to a 7-1 record in only eight games before the remainder of the season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic…Paced the team with nine points on three goals and six assists…Led the Oilers to the South Division finals during his first season in 2018-19.
PERSONAL
Son of Charlene and Michael Dyck…Has an older sister, Bailey, and a younger brother, Brennan…Both his father, Michael, and uncle, Joel, played major junior hockey in the WHL…His father, Michael, has over 20 years of coaching experience and has been the head coach of the WHL’s Vancouver Giants since 2018 and served as an assistant coach for Team Canada’s silver medal winning squad at the 2021 World Junior Championship…Majoring in global & international studies.
