2014-15 (Freshman Year)
Had a breakout freshman season for the Nittany Lions, participating in eight events in his first season donning the Blue and White…Was a top-three swimmer in three events for PSU including: 500 freestyle, 1,000 freestyle and the 1,650 freestyle…Earned two first-place finishes in the 2014-15 season, coming in first in the 1,000 freestyle at Georgia Tech (10/3) with a 9:21.39 and taking first in the 400 individual medley at the Virginia Tech Challenge (10/18), touching in at 4:01.88…Posted a NCAA “B” cut time at the Big Ten Championships (2/27) in the 400 individual medley with a time of 3:54.45.

Swam for Arena Club Aquatics under the direction of head coach Sam Lapan...Named the 2012-13 Maryland 15-year-old Swimmer of the Year...2012 and 2013 Maryland state champion in the 800 freestyle competition...2013 Maryland state champion in the 1,000 freestyle event...Qualified for the summer junior nationals in the 800 and 1,500 freestyle events in 2013...Earned Scholastic All-America status in 2012 and 2013.
