- Two-time Canadian National Champion winning gold in the 100m breaststroke (1:02.01) and 50m breaststroke (27.94) at the 2017 Canadian Swimming Championships in Montreal. Was also seventh in the 200 breaststroke (2:18.71).
- Placed fourth in the 50m breaststroke (28.28) at the 2018 Canadian Swimming Championships in Montreal.
2018-19 (Junior Year)
- Virginia (10/6): Placed second in the 100 breast (55.92).
2017-18 (Sophomore Year)
- Awards: Academic All-Big Ten…Big Ten Men’s Swimmer of the Week (10/14).
- Season: Won eight individual dual meet events, including the first six he competed in.
- Big Ten Championships (2/21-24): Scored at the Big Ten Championships in the 100 breast (53.14, 13th), 200 breast (1:56.97, 13th) and 200 IM (1:46.69, 18th). All times were “B” cuts and 100 breast and 200 IM times were personal bests that ranked among the top-five performers in school history in each event.
- Virginia (10/14): Named the Big Ten Men’s Swimmer of the Week after winning the 100 breast (54.20), 200 breast (2:00.34) and 200 IM (1:49.71) The 100 breast time was the fastest in the nation for the week.
- at NC State/vs. Duke (10/20): Won the 100 breast (54.55), 200 breast (1:59.37) and 200 IM (1:49.54).
- Ohio State Invitational (11/17-19): Won the 200 breast in a personal best and NCAA “B” cut time of 1:56.96, ranking as the fourth-fastest performer in school history. Also won the 100 breast (53.26) and placed 13th in the 200 IM (1:47.52).
- Villanova (2/2): Won the 200 breast (2:03.11), swam the fastest time in the 200 IM (1:51.11) and member of winning 200 medley relay team (1:29.76) against.
2016-17 (Freshman Year)
- Awards: Four-time Big Ten Men’s Freshman of the Week.
- Season: Nine-time dual meet individual event champion.
- Big Ten Championships (2/22-2/25): Earned career bests and three top-20 finishes in the 100 breast (53.59, t-11th), 200 breast (1:57.60, 13th) and the 200 IM (1:46.52, 20th), tallying NCAA B-cut times in all three. Also contributed in the relays, helping the 200 medley (1:25.27) and 400 medley (3:08.04) relay teams to fifth-place finishes in NCAA “B” cut and Penn State all-time top-five times. 200 IM time was the team’s fastest for the year and ranked him as the fifth-fastest performer in the event in school history.
- Towson (10/6): Made collegiate debut, winning the 100 (56.28) and 200 (2:05.61) breaststrokes.
- Virginia Tech (10/15): Won the 200 IM in 1:53.70.
- Ohio State Invitational (11/18-20): Named Big Ten Freshman of the week after swimming first NCAA B-cuts in the 100 breast (54.75), placing fourth, and 200 breast (1:59.65), placing 11th.
- Yale (1/13-14): Named Big Ten Freshman of the Week for a second time after he won both the 100 (55.42) and 200 (1:59.79) breasts, placed runner up in the 200 (1:49.89) and 400 (4:02.04) IM and also contributed to winning efforts in the 200 and 400 medley relay.
- Navy (1/21): Named Big Ten Freshman of the Week for a third time, sweeping the 100 (55.10, B-cut) and 200 (2:02.17) breaststrokes, earning a win in the 200 IM (1:50.60), and opening the meet by contributing to a winning effort in the 200 medley relay.
- at Villanova (2/3): Named Big Ten Freshman of the Week for a fourth-time following the regular season finale, winning the 200 breast (2:00.88) and contributing to a first-place mark in the 200-yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:24.37.
