Swam in seven meets for the Blue and White in his freshman season, primarily in the 50 and 100 freestyle…Notched a first-place finish in the 50 freestyle against Villanova (10/31), touching in at 21.27…Participated in the 100 freestyle in eight meets, posting a personal-best 45.38 at the Big Ten Championships (2/28)…Swam in the 200 freestyle at the Georgia Fall Invite, finishing in 1:44.54, while participating in the 100 butterfly twice with a season-best time of 51.60 at the Big Ten Championships (2.27).
High School
Lettered for four years at Bangor Area High under the tutelage of head coach Amy Lutte ... Garnered All-America recognition for the 50 and 100 freestyle during his junior year ... Became the first swimmer from his high school to qualify for the Pennsylvania State championship meet and placed second in the 50 and 100 freestyle events in 2013 ...
