LION CAREER
2009-10: Set new personal bests in the 100 freestyle (45.31 at Big Tens) and 200 freestyle (1:40.88 at Big Tens)...Served as team captain for the 2009-10 season...Member of 200 freestyle relay squad that finished fifth at Big Tens in a time of 1:19.42, an NCAA B cut time...Member of 400 freestyle relay squat at Big Tens in a time of 2:56.92, good for fifth place and an NCAA B cut time...Won two events on the year as a relay member, the first at St. Bonaventure in the 200 free relay (1:25.85) and the second vs. West Virginia in the 400 free relay (3:08.10)...Best individual finish of the season came at St. Bonaventure in the 50 freestyle with a second-place showing...Twice finished fourth in the 50 free against Buffalo and West Virginia...Swam a near personal-best time of 20.62 at Big Tens in the 50 free....Member of two second-place relays, the 200 free relay at Pittsburgh (1:22.45) and the 400 medley relay (3:27.12) vs. Buffalo.
2008-09: Impressed in premiere event, the 50 free, setting a personal record of 20.60 at the Big Ten Championships (33rd)...Set original season best in the 50 free at OSU Invite with a time of 20.83, besting previous best by nearly eight-tenths of a second...Clocked personal-best time of 45.37 in 100 free at the Big Ten Championships...Swam to second vs. West Virginia in the 50 free and third in the 100 free...Member of winning 400 free relay squad at Texas A&M...Swam five times on 200 free relay team, including a 1:23.72, ninth-place effort at the OSU Invitational...Swam on 200 and 400 medley relays at SMU and Texas A&M...Took third in 50 free vs. St. Bonaventure.
2007-08: Began Nittany Lion career competing in the 50 free, 100 free, 200 free and 400 free relay...Finished second in the 50 free and third in the 100 free against West Chester...Each of season-best times were clocked at the 2008 Big Ten Championships.
HIGH SCHOOL
Earned four varsity letters in swimming at Unionville...Also earned three letters in lacrosse...Finished fifth in the 50 freestyle and eighth in the 100 freestyle at the PIAA state meet junior year and was on the state championship 200 medley relay team senior year ...Member of the National Honor Society and the French National Honor Society...Graduated with a 4.17 grade point average.
