2021-22 (Junior Year)
- Ohio State: finished the 200 yard breast with a time of 2:09.23.
2020-21 (Sophomore Year)
- Big Ten Championships (3/1-3/6): Swam for two career-best times in the 100 breast (56.03) and 100 fly (50.09).
- Michigan State (2/5-2/6): Earned second in the 50 breast (25.86).
- vs. Northwestern and Iowa (1/22-1/23): Swam a personal-best in the 100 breast for a sixth-place finish (56.69). Member of the 200 medley relay team that swam for a fifth-place finish (1:30.47).
2019-20 (Freshman Year)
- vs. St. Bonaventure (10/4): Placed fourth in the 50 yard breast (27.89) and assisted in the 100 medley relay third place finish (43.85)
- Villanova (1/31): Earned two season-best times placing second in the 200 breast (2:07.34) and third in the 100 breast (58.57).

- Swam four years at State College High School for coach Ryan Sprang
- Named 2017-2018 Team Captain
- Led team to four district championship titles, four conference championships and a fourth-place state title.
- Four-time state qualifier and a state finalist.

- Son of John Challis, a professor at Penn State, and Sue Challis, an instructor at Penn State
- Has a younger sister, Jodie
- Father, John, was a British University Champion in track & field and powerlifting for Loughborough University in England.
- Mother, Sue, was a trampoline national, European and World Champion Loughborough University in England.
