2023-24 (Freshman Season):
- St. Bonaventure (9/30): Helped the 200 Medley relay to a third place finish.
- Navy (10/7): Touched fourth in the 200 IM with a 1:52.67.
- Virginia Tech/Princeton (1/20): Earned a new career best in the 100 Breast with a time of 57.30. Added another career best in the 200 Breast with a 2:06.76, and in the 200 IM with a 1:51.19.
- Villanova (2/2): Contributed to a second-finishing 400 Medley relay team. Touched second in the 200 Fly with a time of 1:53.19, finished third in the 400 IM with a 4:04.05.
- B1G Championship (2/28-3/2): Achieved three career-best times; a 3:49.95 finish in the 400 IM finals, a 1:46.16 finish in the 200 Fly finals, and a 1:47.60 in the 200 IM preliminaries.
High School
Karahalis enjoyed a very successful career at Oxford high where he was awarded Ches-Mont Swimmer Of The Year during his senior campaign. Competing in the 100 fly, 200 IM and 100 breast during his high school career, Karahalis won several awards including YMCA National Champion, All-American and USA Swimming Scholastic All-American.
Personal
Karahalis has also swam for Delaware Swim Team and Western Branch YMCA. When not in the pool he enjoys Hiking and exploring the great outdoors. He is the son of Alex and Jessi Karahalis.
