2008-09 Season (Sophomore):Finished the fall and spring season a combined 5-5 in singles...Went 2-1 teaming up with Jake Toole and Eddie Bourchier in doubles...Had a solid fall campaign winning three of his first four matches...Picked up two victories at the PSU Fall Classic, defeating Alabama[apos]s Houssam Yassine (7-6 (7-3), 6-4) and N.C. State[apos]s Frideric Prandecki (6-4, 1-6, 1-0 (10-6))...Defeated Stony Brook[apos]s Ilan Schvartz in three sets (6-7 (4-7), 6-3, 6-2) to advance to the round of 32 at the ITA Northeast Regionals...Earned his first victory of the spring over Saint Joseph[apos]s Matt Prusack (6-1, 6-2)...Finished the spring by defeating Bloomsburg[apos]s Ryan Glubo (6-1, 6-1)...Won two doubles matches in the PSU Fall Classic teaming up with Jake Toole as they defeated Alabama[apos]s Michael Jung and Houssam Yassine (8-5) and Princeton[apos]s Parker Preyer and Alex Faust (8-5)...Picked up a spring doubles victory with Benji Kendall, defeating Bloomsburg[apos]s Jeff Nuhfer and Alan Hummel (8-3).
2007-08 Season (Freshman): Opened up his career with a fall victory over Carlos Salmon of Wake Forest in fall singles action (6-2, 7-6)...Earned a nice victory versus a Big Ten foe in Patrick Dwyer of Iowa at the Big Ten Indoors (6-3, 6-3)...Finished the fall with a 4-3 in singles action...Made five appearances in the spring and did not let down once, going 5-0 in singles action...Opened up spring competition with a 6-0, 6-1 victory over Pat Cerutti of Saint Joseph[apos]s...Earned a three-set victory over Chris Post of St. Bonaventure (6-3, 6-7 (4-7), 6-3)...Teamed up with Ryan Gormley to defeat Jeff Nuhfer and Daniel Phillips of Bloomsburg in doubles action (8-1).
Junior Career: Ranked No. 1 in singles and doubles in Georgia...Ranked as high as No. 3 in singles in the Southern Section...Competed in three of the most prestigious junior tournaments - Clay Courts, Springs and Kalamazoo...Made the round of 32 in his first year in the 18s...Was ranked in the top 50 nationally...Midwest Open Champion...Led high school to three straight finals, losing to the state champions each time...Team captain in high school...Received the Most Spirited award, Carl Harrison Leadership award...Named All-County...Selected as Comcast[apos]s Upcoming Star for a tennis student-athlete in Georgia...High school record of 87-6.
