2007-08 Season (Sophomore): Opened up the fall season with 6-4, 6-1 victory over Zach Watson of Radford in the University of Virginia Fall Classic...Defeated Jeff Friedman of Saint Joeseph[apos]s in a 7-5, 6-2 straight set victory...Earned a victory over Jeff Friedman of Dartmouth (7-5, 6-2)...Finished the fall 3-3 in singles play...Teamed up with Ryan Gormley and Chris Sherman to go 3-1 in doubles action in the fall...Started off the spring season in stellar fashion notching a 6-1, 6-1 victory over Will Pearson of Saint Joseph[apos]s...Picked up a critical victory over David Seyferth of No. 68 Northwestern (6-3, 6-3)...Following a tough three-set loss to Chris Madden of No. 14 Michigan, would go on to win seven of his next eight matches...Picked up a straight-set victory over Gregory Holm of No. 46 Iowa... Earned a nice three-set victory over Abe Souza of No. 17 Illinois (4-6, 6-4, 6-3)...Defeated Paul Foley of No. 74 Purdue in straight sets (6-2, 7-6)...Continued his winning ways during a five-game win streak in beating Scott Rasmussen of No. 73 Michigan State (6-4, 6-2)...Defeated Michael McCarthy of No. 41 Indiana (6-3, 7-5)...Carried over his success to the Big Ten Tournament where he defeated Peter Aarts of No. 17 Michigan...Teamed up in doubles primarily with Adam Slagter...The pair recorded a key victory over Martin Schulhauser and Stepan Siska of No. 27 Virginia Commonwealth in an NCAA Tournament match-up (8-6)...Finished an impressive 7-2 in singles when facing Big Ten foes...Was honored as a 2007-08 Academic All-Big member...Was selected as an ITA Scholar Athlete for having a GPA above 3.50.
2006-07 Season (Freshman): Concluded the season with a 17-4 overall record, including an 8-3 mark in duals and a 1-1 record in the Big Ten...Scored three straight-set victories at the Penn State Fall Classic, which marked his first college victories...Notched a pair of straight-set triumphs in Penn State[apos]s quarterfinal and semifinal victories at the ECAC Championships...Defeated Michael Good of Army in the opening round of the ITA Northeast Regional Championships...Advanced into the main draw of the Big Ten Individual Championship before falling to 49th-ranked Christian Tempke of Northwestern in the Round of 64...Concluded the fall with an 8-3 record in singles play...Went 4-1 in doubles action while teaming with Brendan Lynch...Won his first six singles matches in dual bouts, all of which coming in Penn State victories...Dropped his first match of the season at the hands of Juan Gomez of Northwestern (3-6, 6-4, 6-1)...Went on to score victories in his last three outings of the spring against Wisconsin, Bucknell and Virginia Tech...Found his way into the doubles lineup 13 times in his initial season...Went 7-6 in doubles matches during the spring.
Junior Career: Had a No. 201 ITF Junior world ranking in January of 2006 ... Gained a ranking of No. 31 in Canada Men[apos]s Open Singles...Was a national singles finalist and doubles champion at the Winter Canadian U-18 in 2006...A three-time doubles national champion...Was a Quebec finalist and doubles champion in the winter of 2006...A Quebec U-18 Champion in the summer of 2005.
