Opened the season at the Farnsworth/Princeton Invitational, where he fell 6-2, 6-3 to Yale[apos]s Daniel Faierman and 6-2, 5-7, 6-4 to Penn[apos]s Robert Wong... Also teamed with Guanhua Chen during the doubles portion and fell 8-1 to Cornell[apos]s Venkat Iyer and Alex Sidney. Also fell 8-5 to Princeton[apos]s Zack McCourt and Dan Richardson.
2010-11 Season (Freshman): Posted a 3-3 record during the spring 2011 singles campaign...Went 2-2 in the spring 2011 doubles season...Picked up two fall singles victories at the USTA Invitational (Sept. 25-27), including defeating Dartmouth[apos]s Brandon Debot, 4-6, 6-0, 10-7...Earned a win against Kevon Charles of Morgan State, 6-2, 6-4, at the ITA Atlantic Regionals...Picked up a spring singles victory against Navy on March 13, defeating Matt Richmond, 6-2, 6-2...Posted a victory in the Big Ten Tournament opener, April 28, against No. 71 Wisconsin[apos]s Alexander Teppert, 6-2, 6-1...Teamed with Bryan Welnetz to pick up a fall doubles triumph over Virginia[apos]s Justin Shane and Philippe Oudshoorn, 8-6, in the ITA Atlantic Regionals...Picked up a win to begin spring doubles play against St. Bonaventure[apos]s Chris Post and Elliot Fanshel, 8-5...Paired with Welnetz to take down Josh Katten and Kelly Morque of Bucknell, 8-5, on Feb. 13.
Junior Career: Seaborn joins the Nittany Lion tennis team as the No. 46 recruit according to TennisRecruiting.net. The New York native current plays at North Salem High School, where he owns an overall record of 58-34. The right-handed five-star prospect holds a strong 4-4 record vs. Blue-Chip recruits, and a 32-26 combined record vs. five and four star recruits. Seaborn is ranked 50th in the USTA 18 and Under National Rankings.
