2015-16 (Senior): Kohan had a successful season, playing in the No. 1 doubles team all year, and going 17-15 overall. Notably, during the fall tournament circuit, he and partner Christian Lutschaunig advanced to the final round of the Big Ten Indoor Championships. For the entire spring season, Kohan played at the No. 1 doubles position with Lutschaunig. Together, they took down several ranked teams... beating No. 43 Dartmouth, No. 73 UNC Wilmington, and No. 50 Purdue over the course of the season. Kohan also found success in singles matches in the spring, maintaining an undefeated record of 3-0.
2014-15 (Junior): Redshirt season.
2013-14 (Sophomore): Kohan went 3-2 in singles and 11-4 in doubles this spring... Went 8-8 in singles and 9-4 in doubles this fall, while competing at the Navy All-Conference Tournament, UVa Fall Classic, ITA Atlantic Regional, Big Ten Singles Championships and William & Mary Invitational... Kohan and Matt Barry earned doubles flight honors at the Navy All-Conference Tournament... Kohan combined with Christian Lutschaunig at the No. 3 doubles spot... The duo began the year on a five-match win streak, with victories against St. John's, #33 Virginia Tech, UMBC, Binghamton and Lehigh... They went 1-2 in their next three matches against #33 VCU, Penn and #1 Ohio State, but then bounced back with another five-match win streak... That run included wins against #50 Princeton, #47 South Florida, #62 UCF, Southern Miss and Michigan State. They clinched the doubles point five times for Penn State... Kohan competed at the No. 5 and No. 6 singles spots... He won his first three matches of the year against Lehigh, Southern Miss and Michigan State. His tough 5-7, 7-6(2), 6-3 win against the Spartans' Mac Roy clinched the match point.
2012-13 Season (Freshman): Joined the Nittany Lions in January and went 1-1 in limited action. Earned first start of the season against #69 Cornell, but fell 5-7, 6-3, 1-6 against Kyle Berman at number six singles... Started at number five singles against Lehigh, claiming a 6-1, 6-1 victory over Andrew Krentz... Combined with Tomas Hanzlik in his only doubles match of the year against Wisconsin, dropping an 8-4 result.
