2015-16 (Junior): Collado went 11-7 overall in singles this year... In the spring of his junior tenure Collado posted a 6-2 record playing at the No. 4, 5, and 6 positions. In an impressive show, Collado defeated No. 28 Columbia in the deciding match durin the first round of the NCAA Championships in the spring of 2016...also during the spring season he overpowered No. 18 ranked Illinois twice. Collado was also accomplished during the fall of his junior season, advancing to the final round at the Ivy Plus Invitational after beating No. 51 Harvard in the quarterfinals. Also in the fall, Collado advanced to the quarterfinal round of th USTA Collegiate Clay Court Invitational with partner Nika Dolidze.
2014-15 (Sophomore): Collado went 6-2 this spring to finish the season with 10 wins... Went 5-3 overall and 3-0 in doubles this spring, pairing up with four different partners... Went 4-5 in singles and 2-3 in doubles this fall while competing at the Penn Invitational, ITA Atlantic Regional and William & Mary Invitational... Combined with Christian Lutschaunig for a doubles win at the Penn Invitational and paired with Roman Trkulja for a victory at the William & Mary Invitational... Won two singles matches at the Penn Invitational and collected one each at the ITA Atlantic Regional and William & Mary Invitational... Teamed up with Michael Reilly for an 8-3 win at No. 3 against Temple. Combined with Roman Trkulja for an 8-3 win vs. Wagner and Nika Dolidze for a doubles-point clinching win vs. Monmouth... Collado split time at No. 5 and 6 singles this spring... Earned wins at No. 5 against Wagner's Allen Wang, NJIT's Richard Rangga and Monmouth's Luke Adams... Picked up victories at No. 6 against Temple's Ondre Cargill, James Madison's Stephen Goldman and VCU's Antonio Batlle Rodriguez.
2013-14 (Freshman): Collado went 8-7 in singles this spring, but did not see any action in doubles... Went 8-6 in singles and 6-3 in doubles this fall, while competing at the ITA All-American Championships, Wake Forest Invite, ITA Atlantic Regional, Big Ten Singles Championships and William & Mary Invitational... Reached the draw final at the Wake Forest Invite... Collado and Tomas Hanzlik placed third in their draw at the Wake Forest Invite... He played in the No. 4, No. 5 and No. 6 singles spots for Penn State... He won his first seven matches of the spring, including wins against St. John's, #33 Virginia Tech, Cleveland State, UMBC, Bucknell, Binghamton and Lehigh. He clinched the match point for Penn State against Cleveland State... Collado also had a win against Southern Miss. He dropped close matches against Penn and No. 10 Illinois.
Junior Career: A Barcelona native, Collado was one of the top players in the Catalonia region of Spain. He attended Pare Manyanet school in Barcelona. Has been ranked as high as Top 75 in the Spanish Men's Rankings. He has competed extensively on the ITF Men's Futures Circuit with wins over multiple players with ATP Points.
