2015-16 (Junior): Overall, Laaribi posted a 20-16 singles record and a 15-8 doubles record this season. In the spring, he played at positions No. 2-5 in singles where he beat No. 66 Nebraska and No. 57 Wisconsin. Laaribi had two big wins in a row, beating No. 18 Illinois and then No. 15 Northwestern in the same weekend. The following weekend, Laaribi posted another big win for the Lions, defeating No. 18 Illinois for the second time in one week. In the fall, Laaribi advanced to the singles semifinal round at the ITA Regional Championships defeating several ranked players along the way, including Henrik Wiersholm from UVA in the quarterfinals. During Laaribi's spring doubles run, he played at the No. 3 position, posting an 11-4 record. With partner Matt Barry, he defeated No. 43 Dartmouth and No. 48 Old Dominion University. When paired with Constant De La Bassetiere he beat No. 52 ranked Princeton, No. 73 UNC Wilmington, and No. 18 Illinois. Laaribi also partnered with Matt Galush to win against No. 18 Illinois and No. 28 Columbia. During the fall tournament circuit, Laaribi advanced to the quarterfinal round of the ITA Regional Championships with Ben Lieb, and to the quarterfinal round of the USTA Collegiate Clay Court Invitational with Matt Barry.
2014-15 (Sophomore): Went 16-9 overall and 11-6 in singles this spring. Went 17-15 overall and 12-12 in dual matches in doubles, while combining with four different partners... Competed in the fall at the Penn Invitational, ITA Atlantic Regional and William & Mary Invitational... Named to the All-Tournament Team at the William & Mary Invitational... Combined with Roman Trkulja for all of his doubles matches in the fall, including two wins at the Penn Invitational... The duo reached the quarterfinals at the ITA Atlantic Regional, with three victories, including a win over Virginia Tech's #17 Andreas Bjerrehus and Amerigo Contini... Won two singles matches at Penn Invitational and went 3-0 at the William & Mary Invitational... Paired with Christian Lutschaunig in a win against No. 20 South Florida's Oliver Pramming and Justin Roberts, ranked 44th in the ITA Poll, to clinch the doubles point... Laaribi and Leo Stakhovsky earned doubles wins at the No. 1 position against No. 37 Virginia Tech, No. 13 Cal, No. 64 Cornell, James Madison, VCU, UNC Wilmington and Michigan. Defeated No. 13 Cal's Gregory Bayane and Chase Melton, ranked 30th in the ITA Poll... At the ITA Team Indoor National Championships, Laaribi and Stakhovsky were leading 6-5 when the match was stopped against No. 1 USC's Yannick Hanfmann and Roberto Quiroz, the top-ranked doubles duo in the nation... Laaribi and Alex Fennell knocked off Wisconsin's Jose Carranza and Josef Dodridge, ranked 39th in the nation... Laaribi and Lutschaunig earned victories at No. 3 vs. Nebraska and No. 66 Iowa... Played at the No. 3, 4 and 5 singles positions... At No. 4, picked up wins against No. 20 South Florida and James Madison... Earned wins at No. 5 against No. 19 Kentucky, No. 23 Princeton, No. 63 Tulane, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Purdue and No. 66 Iowa... Won matches at No. 3 against Wagner and NJIT... Clinched the match point four times this season.
Before Penn State: Laaribi went 14-10 overall in singles and 7-6 in the spring, while playing mostly at No. 5 and No. 6... Also went 15-9 overall in doubles and 8-5 in dual matches... Helped Wake Forest to reach the NCAA Tournament, where they advanced to the second round... In the fall, competed at the UVA Ranked Plus One, Wake Forest Invite and the ITA Carolina Regional... Won his first two matches at the ITA Carolina Regional to reach the round of 32... Began the spring with a three-match win streak, with singles wins against Coastal Carolina, Charlotte and Brown... Played No. 5 singles against No. 48 Louisville, defeating Luis Elizondo, 6-0, 6-2... Started at No. 1 singles against NC Central, picking up a 6-4, 6-2 win against Daniil Gerasimov... Went 2-1 during ACC play, with wins against No. 32 NC State's Sean Weber(7-5, 7-5) and No. 40 Virginia Tech's Jai Corbett(7-5, 6-3)... Laaribi and Anthony Delcore earned victories in six of their first eight matches, including wins against No. 66 ETSU, No. 23 LSU, No. 26 South Carolina, No. 48 Louisville, No. 28 VCU and No. 15 Oklahoma State... They clinched the doubles point against LSU and Louisville... The Quebec native was ranked one of the Top 5 juniors in Canada in 2012 and 2013, while placing third at the Canada U-18 National Championships... Laaribi reached as high as No. 199 in the ITF world junior rankings, winning one ITF junior singles title and three doubles titles.
