2017-2018 (Junior): Missed season due to injury.
2017-2018 (Sophomore): In his first year as a Nittany Lion, Henry showed his talent. In the Ivy Princeton Plus Tournament, the sophomore won three out of his four matches to win his flight. His success continued to the ITA Regionals where Henry both of his matches. At the Big Ten Indoor Championships, Henry went 3-1 to win his consolation flight and finish his first fall season as a Nittany Lion 8-3. In doubles, paired with David Kohan, the duo went 3-1 at the Big Ten Indoors to win their consolation flight. Henry’s strength at doubles showed as he played with Matt Galush and Christian Lakoseljac throughout the fall season, wracking up nine doubles wins with various partners. In the spring, Henry won three of his five matches while playing at the No. 1 spot for two of the wins. He finished his spring singles season 3-2. In spring doubles play, Henry played at the No. 2 and 3 spot for the majority of the season alternating with partners Christos Antonopoulos and Nika Dolidze. He finished his spring doubles season 6-2.
Before Penn State: Henry Gordon, formerly from Southern California, now lives in New Braunfels, Texas. Gordon trained at the John Newcombe Tennis Academy for three years while in Texas. A transfer from Texas A&M, he posted a 6-0 record for the Aggies last season. Gordon also had very successful high school and junior careers. During high school, he led his team to the state finals. Noah also finished third at Kalamazoo in doubles, earned a ranking within the top 25 in the country during his junior tenure, achieved a blue chip rating, and is a USTA Sportsmanship Award winner. Gordon plans to major in Agribusiness Management at Penn State.
