2020-21 (Freshman): Sengul brought seven single match wins to the Nittany Lion's spring season record. Playing 15 thoughout the season, Sengul won his last two consecutive matches against Michigan State and Nebraska. In doubles, Sengul ended his freshman year, 2-5. He won every match he played when partnered with Christian Lakoseljac.
Before Penn State
Bora Sengul comes to Penn State from Denizli, Turkey. While attending Okyanus Koleji (Ocean College), Sengul earned two world championships, one in 2017 and 2019. He achieved a career-high ITF ranking of 65 and ATP doubles ranking of 1563.
