Awards: Collected Academic All-Big Ten honors.
Season: Competed in 12 singles matches, including three dual matches, and eight doubles matches, including three dual matches…Played singles at No. 1 and 2 and doubles at No. 3.
Match-By-Match: ITA All-American Championships (9/30-10/8): Advanced to the Round of 64 with singles wins over Wofford’s Ashe Ray (6-3, 6-3) and Arkansas’ Bozo Barun (6-4, 6-2). ITA Regionals (10/11-16): Reached the singles quarterfinals with victories against James Madison’s Esteve Agusti (7-5, 7-5) and William & Mary’s Alexandre LeBlanc (7-6 (2), 6-3)…Paired with Sam Bossem for an 8-2 win over Temple’s Gregoire Barety and Dante Russo. Big Ten Indoor Championships (11/2-5): Picked up a singles win over Michigan State’s Josh Portnoy (6-1, 6-1). Cleveland State (1/22): Earned a singles win at No. 2 against Kade Mindry (6-1, 7-6 (2)). Temple (1/28): Combined with Jack Martuccio for a win at No. 3 over Adam Kresina/Martim Marujo (7-6(3)).
2022-23 (SOPHOMORE)
Season: Earned 14 singles wins, including 12 in dual matches, while playing at No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3…Picked up 15 doubles wins, playing mostly at No. 2.
Match-By-Match: ITA All-Americans (10/1): Earned wins over Illinois State’s Melker Isaksson (6-3, 6-3) and Oklahoma State’s Leighton Allen (6-4, 6-4). Delaware/Georgetown (1/22): Picked up a win against Georgetown’s Jake Fellows (6-3, 6-2)…Earned doubles wins over Delaware’s Alexandre Gluck/Daniel Krulig (6-0) and Georgetown’s Fellows/Arthur O’Sullivan (6-1). Duquesne/Saint Francis (1/28): Collected a win in singles against Fabio Varella (6-3, 6-3)…Picked up doubles victories over Duquesne’s Kaipo Marshall/Jin Dassanayake (6-1) and Saint Francis’ Adam Kush/Gregory Troyan (6-1). Mount St. Mary’s (2/4): Notched a 6-4, 6-3 win over Elliot Stevens…Earned a doubles win over Luke Papayoanou/Marcel Croniin (6-2). Drexel (2/4): Picked up a doubles win over Djordie Janackovic/Gustav Wogen (6-4). Penn/Villanova (2/5): Picked up a 6-2, 6-1 victory over Josh Robinson…In doubles, earned wins over Penn’s Manfredi Graziani/Kian Vakili (6-4) and Villanova’s Trey Forticq/Justin Suarez (6-1). Princeton (2/10): Earned a win over Will Peters (6-3, 7-6(2))…Won 6-3 in doubles over Thomas Bosancic/Filippos Astreinidis. William & Mary (2/12): Claimed a 7-6(5), 6-4 victory over Joseph Brailovsky. St. John’s (2/22): Defeated Sergio Molina (6-2, 6-2) in singles…Earned a 6-4 win over Carl gustaffson/Nishant Dabas. at Liberty (2/24): Earned a 7-6(3), 6-3 win over Rafael Marques Da Silva. at Dartmouth (3/5): Combined with Sam Bossem for a 6-4 victory over Hikaru Takeda/C. Guerrero Alvarez. Cornell (3/18): Notched a 2-6, 6-4, 6-1 win over Petar Teodorovic. at Northwestern (3/26): Registered a 6-2 win in doubles over Ivan Yatsuk/Gleb Blekher. Wisconsin (3/31): Picked up a win over Mihailo Popovic (4-6, 6-1, 6-0). Michigan (4/7): Secured a 6-4 win in doubles over Jacob Bickersteth/Ondrej Styler. at Michigan State (4/9): Earned a 6-0 win in doubles against Reed Crocker/Kazuki Matsuno. Indiana (4/22): Collected a 6-4, 7-6 (7) win over Patrick Fletchall. Purdue (4/23): Combined with Bossem in doubles for a 6-4 win over Daniel Labrador/Tomasz Dudek. vs. Indiana (4/27): Earned a 6-2, 7-6(4) win over Fletchall.
2021-22 FRESHMAN
Compiled a 13-9 dual singles record in the spring...Mostly played the No. 4 court where he went 8-6...Won five straight singles matches to start the season...Defeated Alexandre Gluck to clinch a 6-1 match over Delaware (2/20) for the Nittany Lions...Went 1-0 when playing with Harrison Janes in doubles.
PRIOR TO PENN STATE
Entered Penn State as a five-star recruit ranked No. 46 nationally and No. 2 in the state of Pennsylvania...Attended 21st Century Cyber Charter School...Competed in the 2020 USTA Boys’ 18-under national championships in Michigan, winning four matches and knocking off a top-50 player in the nation in his age group...Won his first three matches of his senior year before the season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
