2022 • JUNIOR SEASON
Season: Started a pair of matches at opposite…Totaled 24 sets and 12 matches played…Had effective offensive output with 30 kills with a .281 hitting percentage…Aced six serves.
 
Charleston (3/4): Had five kills with a .500 hitting percentage off the bench in three-set win. Sacred Heart (3/26): Posted single-game best 12 kills in first start of the season…Tacked on four digs and two blocks in three-set win. at Charleston (4/15): Hit the double-digit kill threshold again with 11 kills in second start of the season. 

2021 • SOPHOMORE SEASON
Awards: Earned Academic All-Big Ten Honors...Named to EIVA All-Academic Team.

Season: Saw action in seven matches, including three starts...Tallied 28 kills and four aces...Had five blocks and eight digs.

at No. 14 Ohio State (1/23): Started in collegiate debut...Led team with eight kills and added two aces. Sacred Heart (3/26-27): Set season high with 11 kills in first home start...Hit .333 in three-set win...Added eight kills and two aces in game two victory.

2020 • FRESHMAN SEASON
Season: Did not see action...Season shortened and no championship held due to COVID-19 pandemic.

BEFORE PENN STATE
Named Team MVP senior season in 2019…Named a 2019 AVCA second-team Boys High School All-America as an outside, opposite and middle hitter for Glenbrook South High School…Selected 2019 Chicago Suburban League Conference Player of the Year in 2019…Chosen to 2019 Chicago Tribune All-Area Team in 2019…Played for Division 1 Volleyball Club for three seasons 2017-19. 

PERSONAL
Parents are Kimberly and Kurt Shampine…Has one brother, Chance…Uncle, Dennis Nam, played hockey at Yale…Majoring in security and risk analysis.
