Season: Started in 13 matches of his 23 matches played…Finished second on the team with 493 assists and 6.85 assists per set…Ranked fifth on the team with 84 digs and 23 total blocks…Started the season’s first three matches before being sidelined with an injury…Returned after six matches and started 10 matches in a row (2/15-3/16)…Had 19 or more assists in 14 matches…Recorded one of two Penn State double-doubles for the season.
at No. 8 Ohio State (1/5): Had 35 assists and nine digs, two blocks, one kill and one service ace. vs. No. 6 UC Santa Barbara (2/9): Posted 22 assists off the bench in return from injury. NJIT (3/2): Recorded a season-high 47 assists in a four-set victory. at No. 11 USC (3/8): Had a second-consecutive 40+ assist match with 45. at No. 15 Ball State (3/16): Posted one of PSU’s two double-doubles for the season with 31 assists and 11 digs. at Harvard (3/29): Recorded 30 assists and four digs off the bench in a four-set win.
2018 • REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE SEASON
Awards: Named EIVA Offensive Player of the Week (1/15)…Named to Academic All-Big Ten Team.
Rankings: Led EIVA with 9.62 assists per set…Ranked third in EIVA with 885 assists.
Season: Started 25 matches with 92 sets played…Led the team in assists with 885 and assists per set at 9.62…Ranked third in total blocks with 50 and digs with 113…Had 18 matches with 30 or more assists, including seven with 40+ helpers…Posted Penn State’s lone double-double of the season at Princeton (3/3).
Mount Olive & Alderson Broaddus (1/12-13): Recorded 69 assists over two matches to win the EIVA Offensive Player of the Week award. at No. 11 USC (1/20): Set a single-game season best with 60 assists in a five-set win…Had six digs and four blocks. No. 15 Purdue Fort Wayne (2/3): Had 54 assists to go with three kills, six digs and two blocks in a four-set win. at Princeton (3/3): Recorded 56 assists and 10 digs for double-double. vs. Harvard (4/19): Had another 56-assist effort with three blocks, five digs and three kills in EIVA semifinals.
2017 • REDSHIRT FRESHMAN SEASON
Awards: Named to Academic All-Big Ten Team.
Rankings: Led the EIVA and ranked fourth nationally with 10.44 assists per set…Ranked second in the EIVA and 12th nationally with 1,013 assists.
Season: Started 26 matches with 97 sets played…Led the team with 1,013 assists and 10.44 assists per set…Ranked second on the team with 142 digs…Finished third on the team with 22 service aces and fifth with 43 total blocks…Had four double-doubles.
vs. No. 2 UCLA (1/6): Started in collegiate debut and finished with 27 assists and three service aces. vs. USC (1/7): Set single-game career best with 62 assists in five-set win…Recorded nine digs with three blocks and two aces. at No. 15 Ball State (1/13): Recorded first career double-double with 41 assists and 11 digs. vs. No. 4 Hawaii (5/2): Had 43 assists, four digs and three kills in the NCAA Opening Round.
