2022 • JUNIOR SEASON
Season: Saw action in 20 matches and 55 sets primarily as a serving sub and defensive specialist…Recorded six digs, three aces, and two kills.
At No. 3 Long Beach State (1/29): Made big dig on highlight play for Nittany Lions in five-set win on the road. At Sacred Heart (2/12): Completed match with two kills, five total attacks, and one block.
2021 • SOPHOMORE SEASON
Awards: Earned Academic All-Big Ten Honors...Named to EIVA All-Academic Team.
Season: Showed versatility as a libero, defensive specialist and outside hitter in 19 total matches and 50 sets...Totaled 48 digs and 24 kills with a .298 hitting percentage on 47 attacks...Finished season with a .923 serve-receive percentage.
at No. 14 Ohio State (1/22-23): Made collegiate debut in season opener...Recorded four digs in first extended game action in game two of series. Saint Francis (2/4): Posted single-game best 11 digs in three-set win as a libero. NJIT (2/4): Recorded first career kill...Finished match with six kills off the bench. at Sacred Heart (2/20): Put down four kills with three digs in two sets played. Sacred Heart (3/27): Scored season-best seven kills with .333 hitting percentage to go with six digs in three-set win.
2020 • FRESHMAN SEASON
Season: Did not see action...Season shortened and no championship held due to COVID-19 pandemic.
BEFORE PENN STATE
Was a four-year letterwinner as a setter and outside hitter at Darien High School…Named Hearst Connecticut Media Group Boys Volleyball MVP twice 2016 and 2017…Helped the Blue Wave to back-to-back Class L Connecticut State Championships in 2016 and 2017…Played four years of football at Darien as a wide receiver and defensive back…Served a two-year mission in Chile for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints after high school.

Parents are Nancy and Todd Herget…Has five siblings; Todd, Tyler, Rachel, Trevor and Thomas…Tyler also plays volleyball for Penn State...Majoring in mechanical engineering.
