The sky is the limit for three-time PIAA champion Tim Darling. With a red-shirt season under his belt and a talented room of teammates with which to to train, Darling is poised to begin his ascent into the Penn State mindset. With the ability to wrestle anywhere from 149 to 165, Darling will be a key ingredient in Penn State[apos]s success this year and will challenge for plenty of mat-time for head coach Troy Sunderland[apos]s team.
Lion Career:
2007-08: Red-shirted last year...went 9-3 in unattached action, including a second place showing at the Hitchcock Open and the title at the Kent State Open.
High School/Personal: Darling was a three-time state champion for Nazareth High School...won PIAA titles as a sophomore, junior and senior...placed third as a freshman...won 2007 High School National Championship.
