Senior Ed Ruth will head into his final campaign as a Nittany Lion riding a 68-match win streak, having won two straight National Championships and looking to become a four-time All-American. Ruth has established himself as one of the top wrestlers ever to don the Nittany Lion singlet. Now, the Harrisburg native is prepping to close out his collegiate career in style. Ruth has never lost to a Big Ten opponent, owning a 42-0 record against conference foes. Ruth was a 2009 High School All-American and comes to Penn State as the top-ranked recruit in his weight class nationally...starred at New Jersey[apos]s Blair Academy this past season after successful high school career at Susquehanna Township..two-time PIAA Triple-A place-winner, finishing fourth and fifth in his final two years at STHS...won the NHSCA High School Junior National Championship in 2008.
