Lock Haven (11/11): Impressive 27-12 tech fall (5:35) over Lock Haven’s Aiden Gaugler in Penn State debut. Black Knight (11/20): Went 3-0 with a major to take title at 165, downed teammate Matt Lee in an all-PSU final. Rider (12/2): Majored Hunter Mays 13-4 in New Jersey. Lehigh (12/4): Posted 6-2 win over Brian Meyer. Oregon State (12/11): Hard-fought 3-2 win over #24 Matthew Olguin in Rec Hall. Collegiate Duals (12/19-20): Majored CMU’s Tracy Hubbard 16-7, then posted 5-2 win over North Carolina’s Nicholas Fea. Lost close 4-2 bout to #3 David Carr of Iowa State. Michigan (1/20): Beat #5 Cameron Amine with riding time edge in first tie-breaker, winning 5-5 (TB1; rt. crit.) in BJC Dual. Michigan State (1/22): Takedown in extra time to post 3-1 (sv) win over #25 Caleb Fish in Rec Hall. Iowa (1/27): Took #13 Patrick Kennedy to tie-breaker before dropping close 2-1 (tb) decision. Ohio State (2/3): Notched 4-1 win over #12 Carson Kharchla in Columbus. Indiana (2/5): Majored Robert Major 20-9. Rutgers (2/10): Rolled up 10 takedowns in 25-12 major over Luke Gayer. Maryland (2/12): Pinned Lucas Cordio at 5:38. Clarion (2/19): Posted 16-10 win over Cam Pine in dual finale.
Big Ten Championships (3/4-5): Placed seventh at first Big Ten tournament. Went 4-2 overall. Beat Stony Buell of Purdue and Nick South of Indiana. Took down #25 Dan Braunagel of Illinois 3-1 in seventh-place match.
NCAA Championships (3/16-18): Went 0-2 in first trip to nationals, losing matches to #20 Holden Heller of Pittsburgh and #4 Julian Ramirez of Cornell.
 
2021-22 / REDSHIRT SEASON:
Season: Wrestled in open tournaments...Went 11-3 wrestling unattached...Had three pins and six majors.
 
HIGH SCHOOL / PERSONAL:
Michigan-native Facundo was a four-time Michigan State Champion at Davison High School...Won title with unbeaten record as a freshman...Claimed titles in sophomore and junior years...Went unbeaten once again to win fourth straight crown as a senior...Honored with 2021 Dave Schultz High School Excellence Award (only second Michigan wrestler to win the honor)...Helped guide Davison to team state title in 2021...Competed in the Who’s #1 All-Star event three straight seasons (2018, 2019, 2020)...Two-time member of the U.S. Cadet World Team (2018, 2019)...Has one older brother, Marcos...Considering a kinesiology major at Penn State.
