Amy Moreau arrives in Happy Valley in July of 2025 after two seasons with the Davidson lacrosse staff. In her two seasons with the Wildcats, she helped guide the team to a combined 23-12 record, including a 15-4 conference mark. In 2025, Davidson had the Atlantic 10’s top scoring defense allowing just nine goals per game. That mark ranked sixth nationally. She coached the 2025 Atlantic 10 Goalkeeper of the Year, who tallied the sixth best save percentage in the country last season at 49.8 percent.
A native of Saratoga Springs, N.Y., Moreau played five years of lacrosse at the University of Massachusetts before getting into the coaching space. She helped lead UMass to a 2022 Atlantic 10 Conference Championship, while also capturing four A-10 regular season titles and making three NCAA Tournament appearances.
Moreau was also named the 2023 Atlantic 10 Midfielder of the Year and earned First Team All-Conference and All-Northeast Region honors while ending her career ranked fifth all-time with 151 draw controls and sixth in caused turnovers (74). During her fifth and final season, Moreau scored 35 goals and dished 15 assists, both career highs, and ended her tenure with 100 career ground balls.
After graduation in 2023, Moreau signed a professional lacrosse contract, competing with Athletes Unlimited, becoming the first UMass lacrosse player to sign with the league. She played in AU for two summers and has since signed with the Women’s Lacrosse League (WLL), where she competed in the 2025 All-Star Game. She has also been called to participate in many Team USA training camps since her graduation.
